Christmas Fair - Saturday 6th December from 1.00pm

Everyone is welcome to our annual Christmas Fair which is full of fun events for all the family.

Each year we look to raise money through the fair to support our work and that of someone else who is looking to do good through what they do. In past years we have supported, WaterAid, SNAPPY and the Yorkshire air amblance.

This year we are supporting the charitable funds of the Cancer Care and A&E departments at York District Hosptial so that they are able to provide some of the care and equipment that wouldn't otherwise be available.

For the Cancer Care Department we are working to help them purchase a Volumetric Infusion Pump.

For the A&E Department we are helping to provide toys and play equipment so that children accompanying a parent or carer who is ill or injured will have something to help occupy them while in the department. If ill or injured themselves they can then be a real help as a distraction while they wait for the care and treatment they need.

How can I help?
If you are a member of our Church or want to help us with our preparations for it, there are several ways in which you can help:

Provide items to include as prizes in our Grand Draw and Tombolas. Please note all items MUST be new.

Volunteer to help with refreshments on the day.

Fill one of our 'Surprise Gift Jars' - these are available now from the Church after every Sunday service. Your Jar needs to be returned to Holy Redeemer by Sunday 23rd November. Please also return any jars that still need to be filled.

There is currently a real need for items for the craft stall. Anyone who is able to donate items for this should leave them in one of the collecting boxes at the back of the Church.
